GILLIAN “JILL” COLLEY – PRODUCER
Gillian Colley is a Canadian-American with a checkered past, having worked as a flight attendant, children’s clothing designer, and educator specializing in emotional learning support before branching into filmmaking as a first assistant director. With A Host of Sparrows, Jill steps into the role of full-fledged producer.
KEVIN ALEXANDER BOON – WRITER/DIRECTOR
Kevin Alexander Boon is the author/editor of eleven books, including Script Culture and the American Screenplay (Wayne State University Press, 2008). His short fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and Kurt Vonnegut once referred to his work as “clearly heroic and brilliant.” Kevin’s screenplay, An Unmarked Grave, won the International Screenwriters Association Screenplay Competition in 2016. A Host of Sparrows is Kevin’s third feature film.
EDWIN KOESTER – DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Edwin Koester is an award-winning cinematographer and has worked on a broad range of projects, such as the thriller “The Fields” (Anchor Bay Entertainment) with Academy Award winner Cloris Leachman and Tara Reid and the crime drama “Good Day For It” (Nazz Productions) with Saturn Award winner Robert Patrick and cinematographer Stephen Kazmierski. His corporate and freelance work has been featured internationally on venues such as the UK’s Virgin 1 and CNN’s iReport. Edwin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Video Production from Penn State University and is currently CEO of Edwin Koester Videography.
